IPI hosted its fourth annual Technology Partners’ Networking Session at Peperoni Pizzeria at Biopolis on 1 April 2016. It was a significant day as IPI had just concluded its fifth year under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2015 plan in helping enterprises to grow their business through the use of technology and innovation. It also marked the beginning of the new five-year plan under RIE2020.
There was an engaging mix of representatives from technology transfer offices, intermediaries, technology translators, industry associations and foreign embassies at the event.
In his welcome remarks, Professor Lam Khin Yong, Executive Director, IPI, recapped IPI’s achievements over the last five years and highlighted the upcoming events where partners could find opportunities to collaborate with the industry. These events include the inauguration event for Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Singapore on 21 April and TechInnovation 2016 from 20 to 21 September.
In closing, Professor Lam expressed his appreciation to the partners for their strong support in working with IPI to bridge the gaps between technology seekers and providers, and looked forward to their continued support in the future.
