The Supply Chain Innovation Day, organised by Supply Chain Asia and supported by IPI, brought together more than 200 participants for a full-day seminar and exhibition showcase of emerging technologies applicable in the supply chain and logistics industry on 17 May 2019. Experts shared how innovations such as autonomous robotics, industry Internet of Things and AI will enable the future of supply chain.
Curated by IPI, the afternoon track focussed on innovative tracking technologies that enable businesses to maintain visibility of their inventory. Patrick Ng, Principal Technology Manager from IPI shared an overview of today's available tracking and positioning technologies and how IPI could give companies a boost in accelerating their innovation pipelines through technology partnerships.
The track also featured speakers from innovative homegrown start-ups and SMEs in the tracking technology space who shared various solutions and services that enterprises could leverage to increase efficiency and remain competitive.
