IPI Head of Innovation and Technology Dr Sze Tiam Lin recently delivered a keynote address at the 2021 Technology Licensing & Commercialisation Annual Conference organised by the Korea Association of University Technology of Transfer Management (KAUTM), a network organisation of technology licensing offices of Korean universities.
Speaking to more than 580 in-person and virtual conference participants on 6 October 2021, Dr Sze shared insights into establishing an ecosystem for global innovation partnerships and how IPI helps enterprises accelerate the commercialisation of new technologies by leveraging industry networks, digital tools and platforms.
He further encouraged more Korean technology transfer professionals to expand their global innovation efforts to other countries like Singapore based on their key sectors.
Having taken part as an exhibitor at TechInnovation 2021, Gyoung Ha, Choi, Deputy General Manager from KAUTM expressed, “We are keen to tap into IPI’s platforms to enable KAUTM members to expand their global outreach to commercialisation partners – one of which is to participate in TechInnovation next year to showcase technologies from the universities and connecting with industry partners.”
