Together with its partners from the Enterprise Europe Network, IPI co-organised two technology matching events – the Dutch Water and Circular Economy matchmaking event and a roundtable session, during the Singapore International Water Week. Held in conjunction with the World Cities Summit, the integrated expo provided an opportune setting to reach out to international industry players focussed on water, urban and environment solutions.
The Dutch Water and Circular Economy matchmaking event was jointly hosted by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and IPI on 10 July 2018. Dutch companies and Singapore-based enterprises were brought together to explore new technology partnership opportunities on the topics of water management and treatment, delta technology, and resource recovery from urban waste streams. The following day, IPI and SmartCityTech set up a roundtable session where representatives from European tech firms and local companies discussed water and smart cities innovations.
Both events had generated favourable outcomes as several opportunities are being explored between the Singapore and European organisations arising from their initial meetings.
