The 10th IEO Forum held on 4 April 2022 gathered leaders from local Innovation and Enterprise Offices (IEO) and enterprise development agencies to discuss potential collaborations and innovation opportunities as safe management measures ease up in Singapore.
IPI Head of Strategy, Marketing and Communications Alvin How and Enterprise Singapore Senior Development Partner Logaiswaran Chandrasegaran provided a preview into the exciting calendar of innovation events that the IEO community can expect from IPI and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) which will be held from June to October 2022.
With the steady growth of the bi-annual forum over the five years, it was also timely to take stock and plan for the future. IPI Chief Operating Officer Michael Goh thanked the IEO community for their strong support and celebrated their successful collaborations with enterprises over the years. He also emphasised the importance of introducing new and younger members to the technology transfer sector so that the innovation ecosystem remains vibrant. IPI Chief Technology Officer Dr Sze Tiam Lin then guided over 45 participants in a brainstorming session to ideate new strategic renewal initiatives that will bring the community onward to greater heights. The forum concluded with an exclusive tour of the Food & Innovation Resource Centre by host Singapore Polytechnic.
The next IEO Forum will be hosted and co-chaired by Institute of Technical Education and is scheduled for the third quarter of 2022.
