Chee Siong has over 45 years of aerospace component manufacturing experience and currently serves as Building Project Lead with Collins Aerospace for their new manufacturing site at Seletar Aerospace Park. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to design a facility that enhances operational efficiency and capability. Chee Siong began his career in 1975 with Hamilton Sundstrand Pacific Aerospace Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Collins Aerospace, where he rose to become Plant Manager of the Changi facility.
In 2010, he joined Rolls-Royce Singapore Pte Ltd as Operations Director, leading the establishment of the Wide Chord Fan Blade manufacturing facility in Seletar Aerospace Park. Two years later, he became CEO of JEP Precision Engineering Pte Ltd and Managing Director of Dolphin Engineering, both of which are homegrown SMEs involved in precision component manufacturing for the Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Electronics industries.
In 2018, Chee Siong joined SAESL as GM - Factory Project, collaborating with various agencies on land acquisition and directing the building design and layout to support operational growth.
He is also a volunteer member of the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) Advisory Panel of Experts. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business & Management Studies from the University of Birmingham, UK, a Diploma in Accounting & Finance from the UK's Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Specialist Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Nanyang Polytechnic, and a Certified Quality Manager from the Singapore Quality Institute.
