A:The system will stop accepting submissions on 30 June 2019, 2359hrs (SGT).

Q:HOW WILL MY SUBMISSION BE EVALUATED?
A:Your submission/solution will be evaluated by the corporate providing the problem statement. The organisers reserve sole discretion to provide support without any obligation to justify our decision. We are seeking solutions with some form of Proof of Concept (POC), and can be developed into a minimum viable product (MVP) preferably within three months. Longer development period for the MVP will also be considered in cases where it necessitates a more complex solution to resolve the problem. During evaluation of your submission, we will consider the relevance, readiness and feasibility of the proposed solution.

Q:HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE CHALLENGE?
A:Navigate to the page describing a specific problem statements and click the "Apply" button. You will be presented with a form for you to submit your proposal. This submission will be your official entry into the challenge. Submissions received after the deadline of 30 June 2019, 2359hrs (SGT) will not be considered for evaluation. You may also upload any supporting files.

Q:IF WE ARE NOT BASED IN SINGAPORE, ARE WE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CHALLENGE?
A:Yes, this challenge is open to all local and foreign registered startups, SMEs and students from local and foreign tertiary institutions. However, if you are shortlisted for Pitch Day, arrangements should be made to present your solution in-person or via online mediums (Skype, Facetime etc.).

Q:WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATIONS?
A:The protection of intellectual property rights in the submitted solution is the sole responsibility of the applicant. If you would like to share intellectual property rights which may contribute to the value proposition of the solution, it will be advisable to consider getting appropriate legal advice prior to making any disclosures to the organizers. Q:I AM A STUDENT, CAN I SUBMIT MY SOLUTION?
A:Yes, you can submit your solution. However, you will be required to incorporate a company in order to receive the Startup SG Grant.

Q:HOW MANY MEMBERS CAN I HAVE IN MY TEAM?
A:Your team should have a minimum of two members. There is no upper limit to the team size. However, participants cannot belong to more than one team, and cannot be family member or employee of Enterprise Singapore, IPI Singapore, CIC, GeTS, Momentum, PSA Corporation, Yang Kee Logistics or YCH Group.

Q:HOW WOULD I KNOW IF MY TEAM/STARTUP IS SHORTLISTED?
A:The shortlisted teams will receive an email in August 2019 on their selection with instructions on the next steps of the Trade and Connectivity Challenge.
