Impact noise such as dragging of furniture and dropping of items can affect the quality of living, especially in a highly-dense environment.

To mitigate the issue, HDB is calling for effective solutions, which can be easily implemented in both new and existing HDB developments, to reduce inter-floor noise transmission.
